Soup Week: A Retrospective

Welcome to the 5th and final day of Soup Week!

I hope you've enjoyed this week's steamy bowls of deliciousness (or in one case, a lesson learned from not-so-deliciousness). To wrap up the week, I'm sharing some soups I've made and loved prior to soup week, and also a few soups on my to-do list that I can't wait to try this winter.

Past faves:
Pho Ga
Daring Cooks: Pho Ga

Curried Cauliflower Soup
Curried Cauliflower Soup

White Gazpacho with Grapes and Toasted Almonds

On my to-do list:
Deconstructed Grilled Cheese and Tomato Soup
Hot and Sour Soup
Pappa Al Pomodoro
Tortilla Soup
Do tell! What's your favorite kind of soup?

Favourite soup? At the moment I'd have to say butternut squash - with cream. Its rich and yummy and comforting =D.

I really loved your soup week! My favorite kind of soup is my Mom's homemade chicken noodle soup!

I'd love to learn to make albondigas (a Mexican meatball soup). It's my favorite when I find it at a Mexican restaurant.

This question is like asking me to pick a favorite book, or my favorite piece of kitchen equipment. I'll second Lauren for butternut squash soup right now, but once I try the Ad Hoc chicken & dumplings soup I might change my mind.

I still need to try that pho ga recipe, and I'm intrigued by the curried cauliflower soup. My favorite thing to do with cauliflower is aloo gobi, so this could be right up my alley.
