Great pictures! I had such a great time there when we went in May during our visit with family. Wish I could have spent more time. Will definitely go again.
Thanks Katie! I bought lots of loot: goodies for a lunch picnic on the water that day (bread, cheese, fruit, chocolate), plus some take-home souvenirs (pasta, saffron, jellies, etc.). YUM!
We love Pike Place Market! We went a couple of times when we were in Seattle for the weekend, and it was awesome! Good for you for having such a wonderful place to shop!
@Leslie @oneordinaryday Thanks! Unfortunately I don't live near the market either, these pictures were taken on vacation!
@Linda It was amazing, we loved every minute. We've been thinking seriously about moving up there next year, and this confirmed our suspicions that it's a great fit for us :)
I'm a Seattle native now living in Phoenix and one of the things I miss most about my hometown is the market. There are colors, smells, and sounds there that you can't find anywhere else.
P.S. Did you visit the gum wall on the side of the Market Theater?
@jeweloree @Jenna I wish I knew about the gum wall when I was there! Just heard about it this weekend for the first time. Aw shucks, guess I'll have to go back :)
Your pictures are gorgeous!! I was telling my husband the other day how cool it would be to go there to take photos and print them off as artwork for our house.
When I'm in the office in Seattle, I'm a quick 5 minute walk from the market. Good thing I'm not in the office 5 days a week or that would be deadly!
Hi, I'm Amy I., and this is my food blog! I'm a social worker, baker, lover of berries, flipflops, naps, puppies, hot sauce, color-coding, and playing with my food. I live in Silicon Valley, California with my geeky husband, munchkin toddler, and emo dog. Thanks for stopping by!

Oh, I wish I had a place like that to browse and shop. I'm so jealous!
