Farmers' Market, 6.16.09

One of my favorite things about our town is that we're lucky enough to have a Farmers Market that's open 3 times a week during the summer. I stopped by this afternoon to do a bit of shopping and, of course, get in everyone's way as I played veggie paparazzi.

I saw some baby things:

And some giant things:

And some things that were juuuuust right:

Your photos are gorgeous! I hate to tell the farmer, but those aren't patty pan squash - they're zucchini. Which takes nothing away from your fab photos!

What is that purple garlic? They had some at my grocery, last week. Just how I like my garlic - strong!

Oh gosh, I wish I had a farmer's market nearby. My mom always goes, but it's on the far side of DC and I'm too lazy for that :P

Those strawberries look amaaaazing.

I didn't know there was another farmers market other than the saturday market! silly me. after all this IS Eugene. I should know better. Now, where are these other markets? I've been having fresh strawberry withdrawals for months!
