I got the raised bed started with our first batch of veggies. We also planted some ferns and other green stuff around the yard in shadier spots, along with a flowering vine in our mailbox/planter. Once we bring in more topsoil for our big new extra-sunny plot, I'll be planting all my faves like tomatoes, cucumbers, and peppers there. I love this time of year!
