Here's a quote from this week's CSA newsletter that kind of epitomizes why I love this:

"Some of the ginger in your share will have a blue tint to it – not to worry, the blue is there because the ginger was grown in Hawaii by a guy called ‘Biker Dude’ who also grows blue ginger."

How awesomely random is that? I'm bummed that my ginger's not blue.
