Times, They Are A'Changin'

Hey y'all! How are you?

The frenetic blogging pace you saw in September has slowed down as I have begun the transition from a very lazy, wonderful, newlywed-blissful summer to a full-time-plus load of work, internship (I love, love, looooooove it so far), and school. I'm so grateful for the opportunities in my career at the moment, but it's difficult coming home every day and doing anything other than TV and Google Reader. I want to be the kind of person that has the energy to do it all! Cook, keep the house organized and immaculate, craft a little, exercise...oh, and homework too.

This week, we celebrated Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year. It's a wonderful
time of new beginnings for both Andy and me, and I can't wait to see what the year brings. All I can hope for is balance. If I can strike the right proportion of work, school, and play, this will be a wonderful year.

I welcome your thoughts about how you like to maintain sanity in your life. Especially if you spend 2 days a week at the psych ward like me!

Best of all, we have a month-long belated honeymoon to New Zealand look forward to in December! We'll be leaving the bleak gray Oregon winter for Southern Hemisphere sunshine. Yay!
