On Sunday, Andy and I drove out to a farm stand in our efforts to escape the oppressive heat (which, in the process, became oppressively freezing and rainy. weird.) This is the same farm that I went cherry picking at with the girls a while back. This is what we got:
Om nom nom nom.
Naturally, I was compelled to make a peach blueberry cobbler. I used the same recipe as this raspberry one I made at Eric and Shelby's a while back. I didn't bake it quite long enough, so the top was a little runny, but it was still beyond yummy. We brought it over to Eric and Shelby, of course, because they're becoming my professional taste testers. Kylie, our neighbor, came too-- we're trying to get her and Shelby to be bff because Kylie does roller derby and Shelby's trying out next month. Yay!
Bad Amy! No finished product picture again. Use your beautiful imaginations!! I would have rather made a crisp instead of making a cobbler I've already made before, but all of the many recipes I found all required one ingredient (usually, but not always, lemon juice or zest) that I didn't already have on hand, and I was trying to make do with what was available here. Oh well! It was still awesome!
